Andrew Kennedy, MD, FACRO

Dr. Kennedy is co-medical director of Wake Radiology Oncology, a freestanding, private practice radiation oncology treatment center in Cary, NC.  He has first-hand experience in the challenging area of pediatric cancer care, and was a founding board member of the region’s successful Pretty in Pink charity helping patients with breast cancer.  His specialty training in radiation oncology, including treating cancers in children, was completed at UNC School of Medicine, Chapel Hill, and he was Associate Professor of radiation oncology and Residency Program Director at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore prior to taking his current position in Cary.
