5th Annual Spike for a Cause

The City of Raleigh Parks & Recreation Department, vh1ball.com, and the Wake County Volleyball Club have been co-sponsoring an annual charity volleyball tournament for the past 4 years and have helped to raise over $30,000 in total donations to benefit various cancer awareness, research, prevention and support organizations.

This years event will take place on August 28th at Jaycee Park in Raleigh and consists of teams of 4 players on both grass and sand.  Last year, there were 60 teams registered to play and they are challenging themselves to beat that goal this year.

Donation Requests

In addition to cash donations from players and sponsors, we are looking for local business to contribute in-kind donations (gift certificates, new volleyballs, new athletic clothing, etc.) that we can include in a raffle to raise even more cash.  Download a donation request letter to bring to local businesses.
